This site is a tribute to a special man who didn't realise just how wonderful he was.
Whilst our grief is a physical pain we know that Andy didn't want us to be sad for him so this Tribute is intended to be written in the same down-to-earth way that we all loved about him. So just as he wanted, we will remember him with love and a smile rather than a tear.
Funeral information
Anyone who knew Andy would not be surprised by this; he did not want a funeral. The thought of the expense, the fuss and the amount of money people might spend on flowers, travel and even new outfits (although he did love a new outfit!) was a definite no-no for him. So instead he asked that any money that would have been spent on flowers etc please be given the the MNDA which, in his words, is a much better use of your money.
Making memories
Andy had a contagious zest for all that life had to offer and a passion for making people happy. So in honour of the most genuine person I have ever met, please join me in keeping Andy's courageous and selfless spirit alive by sharing your funny stories and happy memories, photos..anything you feel would make him smile. By adding your fondest memories of Andy to this tribute page you can help to light up the space that his loss has left behind. Simply click on the blue Add to tribute button below.
Thank you lovely people.
The light in our lives has dimmed but the universe is now a brighter place because of you. It's your time to rest in peace now, Angel.
Love, health and happiness to you all
Paula, Nick, Tom & family xx

Many fond memories of Andrew...I as called him. Always a pleasure to see him even when I didn’t give him an order!
We are all very saddened to lose Andy to such a cruel disease. We will remember him as the strong, inspiring leader he was with a true passion for the company and the industry and his amazing courage in battling MND. We hope to continue the success of BergHOFF UK in his memory. Our sincere condolences to Paula and family
